Loyola’s graduate psychology program ranked among the nation’s best

U.S. News & World Report named Loyola University Maryland among the 2025 Best Graduate Schools, ranking the University’s graduate psychology program one of the top in the nation.

Loyola was ranked No. 71 (tied) out of 303 Social Sciences and Humanities Doctoral
Programs in Psychology, rising 51 spots from last year. Loyola’s doctoral program in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) was also ranked No. 91 (tied) among 251 Clinical Psychology Programs and
is consistently ranked among the top 10 Psy.D. programs in the country.

program in clinical psychology empowers students through rigorous, best-in-class academic

rankings recognize the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students.

U.S. News & World Report’s rankings reflect peer assessments of academic quality as well as location, environment,
cost after tuition and financial aid, and job placement.

Loyola offers an undergraduate bachelor of arts degree, master’s in clinical professional counseling, and doctoral degree in clinical psychology. The programs in psychology endorse the
educational mission of Loyola, to challenge students to learn, lead, and serve in
a diverse and changing world.

The APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology is committed to the professional
training and development of doctoral level psychologists in the scholar-practitioner
model and the Jesuit value of cura personalis, care for the whole person.

Loyola’s master of science in speech-language-hearing-sciences was also ranked No. 105 (tied) out of 204 programs, and Loyola’s business programs
in the Sellinger School of Business and Management were recognized among the best in the nation by U.S. News.
